Is this memo the real thing?

Every Entry Memo carries a Stable ID and an integrity hash. Paste them here and we compare against the hash recorded in Triangle's issuance ledger at mint time. No sign-in, no charge, no account. You should be able to check our work without asking us.

Check a memo's integrity

Enter the Stable ID and Hash printed in the Integrity section of the memo you were given. We compare them against the hash Triangle locked into the ledger when the memo was issued.

Hash verification above proves the copy is unaltered. This check answers a different question: for the entry facts on this memo, would Triangle issue the same duty layers today? For a memo issued on or after September 23, 2026 the memo ID alone is enough — we kept a replay record of it. Older memos hold no replay record and Triangle does not keep the memo artifact, so their rate stack can only be compared if you saved the memo JSON (the ?format=json version) when it was created.

The memo download button always offered the PDF and CSV; it never offered this JSON, and Triangle does not keep a copy of it. You would only have it if you saved the ?format=json version at creation. Memos issued on or after Sept 23, 2026 keep a replay record, so the ID alone compares them fully — leave the box blank for those.

What each answer means

VALID

The hash you supplied matches the one on file. The copy has not been altered as far as its integrity footprint goes. To go further, the memo JSON (the ?format=json output) must have been saved at creation — the download button offered the PDF and CSV, and Triangle does not keep the JSON. Triangle then recalculates the figures themselves.

TAMPERED

Triangle did issue a memo under this ID, but the hash you supplied does not match the one locked in at issuance. Either the copy you were handed has been altered, or the hash was copied wrong. Do not rely on the document.

NOT FOUND

No memo with this ID exists in the issuance ledger. Double-check the ID. It may have been copied wrong, or the memo was never issued through Triangle.
